His Wheels International (HWI) is a bicycle service organization. HWI continues to
mobilize God's work worldwide by providing bicycles and bicycle expertise, nationally
and internationally. Internationally bicycles and tricycles are serving educators in 7 African countries. Nationally HWI provides transportation for international students,
refugees, missionaries, ex-offenders, the homeless and the disabled.

- 3000 volunteer hours averaging 171 hours per month
- 212 Different volunteers since inception
- 131 Bicycles distributed nationally in 2007
- 572 Bicycles distributed since HWI's inception
- 55 Bicycles and 7 hand-pedaled tricycles serving nationals in Africa
- 150 Bicycles shipped to those impacted by
Katrina in New Orleans through a partnership with Naperville
Presbyterian Church
- Refugees and Immigrants from 18 countries are using over 147 bicycles
locally through a partnership with World Relief, DuPage
- Missionary families representing 32 countries and 31 different
mission organizations have enjoyed bikes during furlough.
- 1 Eagle Scout Candidate and 20 young men from Glen Ellyn Boy
Scouts Troup 46 partnered with HWI. They spent over 100 hours repairing bicycles and distributed over 20 bicycles to World Relief
- International Students from 14 countries have used bikes while
studying in the area
- 29 Bicycles were distributed through a Baptist Church in Chicago
Heights in December 2005 for Christmas presents to children in need
- 11 Three-wheeled hand pedaled prototype for HWI were designed,
built and 6 of them were donated by Fox River Design. 3 Tyricycle prototypes in Africa, 1 was donated to Joni and Friends
- Our first 28 months of ministry (May 2005 - August 2007) done on
a budget of $28,000 (with a positive bank balance and no debt)
HWI is a 501C-3 Not-For-Profit tax exempt organization. All donations are tax
deductible and can be made payable to His Wheels International. We collect, refurbish
and resell old bikes. Local sales fund National and Global projects
